love prov60, especially vanilla and choc, mixes brilliantly , cost effective in the big tubs and helped me gain 6lbs of muscle with my diet, tried other blends but just prefer prov60 every time. Only negative is I would like to see more flavors like coffee, mint etc.

And now, Pro V-60: mixes excellent! very quickly and thoroughly. The taste= not bad(vanilla ice cream) i only used 6oz. of water and even that seemed too much.(no gagging though i often have stomach discomfort with new protein powders. Not so bad in this case; definitely no bloating, but i am experiencing a very small amount of gas Overall,quality product right here!!

I'm going to give you my professional review here Labrada, that's how I roll, please let me know your thoughts, Fireblade. Profile: 8/10 Labrada Pro V60 has a solid profile, with 315 cals per serve and minimal fat (3g) it still manages to deliver a whopping 60g of protein. Carbs are kept in check too with only 12g per serve. As the protein level is so high, I halved my serves to only 1 scoop effectively giving me 30g of protein and giving me more value for money. I didn't use the shake for PWO as the blend seems to be targeted more towards a sustained release of protein rather than a quick hit like WPI for example. The protein profile is as follows: Micro Ultrafiltered Whey Protein Concentrate > Agglomerated Egg Albumin > Calcium Caseinate > Micro Ultrafiltered Whey Protein Isolate >, Ion Exchange Whey Protein Isolate. The high portion of egg albumin and calcium caseinate in the mix will help with the slower release of proteins into the system. The product also has a great Amino Acid/BCAA profile. Value: 6/10 As mentioned above, I halved my serves so effectively doubled the use I got from this product. Being in Australia, our prices are hugely inflated compared to what you lucky guys in the US get, so I'll base the price/serve ratio on bb.com's pricing. At the recommended serving size (2 scoops) you get 20 serves per tub effectively costing you $2.40 per serve which I think is far too expensive. At a half serve it works out to be $1.20 per serve of which you get 40 per tub, so much better value IMO. One gripe I have with this product though is the size of the tub. I bought this protein on impulse as my usual was out of stock, to the eye this tub is the exact same size as a typical 5lb tub of ON's or similar, however it is only 3.5lbs. When I got it home and opened it, I was surprised to see it was 1/3 emtpy. Perhaps Labrada could think about resizing the tub, or even better filling it up to 5lbs for the same price! Mixability: 10/10 I always mix my shakes with skim milk (I think you guys call it 2% or something over there??). I only ever used a shaker, and that's all it needed. About 5 seconds of rapid shaking and it was all dissolved and mixed perfectly. I would mix 1 scoop of powder with about 6oz of milk and the result would be a thick, creamy shake (thicker than Muscle Milk if you've tried that). If you like it a little thinner in consistency, use about 7-8oz of milk. Water would probably result in a much thinner shake as well. Taste: 10/10 The Chocolate Ice Cream flavour was perfect IMO. I would crave a shake all day it was that good. On weekends I'd probably have 3 or more shakes in a day I like it so much! it almost feels like you're cheating. The flavour is not too strong or sweet (I find sweet shakes get really annoying very quickly), but very smooth and combined with the creamy consistency makes one of the best tasting shakes I've ever had. I would rate it higher than many of the muscle milk's (Choc PB, Banana Cr?me, Strawberry Cream, etc) and even better than Real Gains choc.. Overall: 7/10 It's hard for me not to buy another tub of this stuff as the taste is soo damn good. The profile is great and my local supp store sells it.. the only problem for me is the value/pricing. If it were a 5lb tub at the current pricing, or if it were repriced to something more acceptable for a 3.5lb tub, it would be a staple supp for me. If you don't think the pricing is too bad, then give it a try.. if you find it with a discount somewhere then I'd def buy a few tubs to put away as well. IMO I'd definitely recommend it as a solid protein blend.

ProV60 continues to be my favorite.

I’ve been weight training for about 6 years and in that time have used just about every major brand of protein supplement and meal supplement – EAS (Myoplex, Whey), NitroTech, Optimum Whey, MET-Rx, Designer, GNC, etc. – Labrada’s ProV60 continues to be my favorite. As far as flavor, the vanilla tastes as good or better than the other protein powders I’ve had. The chocolate is mediocre, not quite as good as Myoplex. The banana flavor...well, you might want to pass on that one. My personal recommendation would be to get the vanilla and add a small amount of chocolate or strawberry syrup, bananas or peanut butter if the flavor becomes boring.It mixes easily so it can be put in a shaker cup or tossed on a bowl of cereal for breakfast. It’s not a meal replacement, and doesn’t contain additional vitamins and minerals like Myoplex or ProPlete, so I wouldn’t recommend it as a complete meal replacement – at very least take a multivite with it. The plus side is that this keeps the carbs and calories relatively low for consuming 60g protein (most other brands deliver around 40g protein for the same calories/carbs).Now whether the body can actually use 60g of protein in one dose is still up for debate. Since this is a relatively high dose of protein (assuming you’re consuming 4-6 30g scoops per day), I would strongly recommend consuming a half gallon of water each day to minimize the strain this puts on the kidneys. – E.
